PeEK Dialog

This dialog is a simplified version of the Process View Dialog. It displays the inputs, outputs, variables, and parameters used by the script, which performs the automated tasks (see the section titled “Programming”). The parameters may be used to implement a high-level interface to the controller processes. These may be accomplished through the iNetGrow software, or through a web browser. See the sections “Automated Tasks” and “Manual Triggers” for further information.

The Peek Dialog contains a subset of the features that are available in the Process View Dialog. The latter can be reached from the Remote I/O Dialog. The information available in the Peek Dialog is limited to the currently selected controller. Moreover, the dialog allows modifying only one parameter at a time. The Process View Dialog has tabs for each controller and a button labeled “Advanced.” The Advanced Process View Dialog provides further facilities to manipulate the parameter values.

Modifying the Parameter Values

The controls grouped under the frame titled “Modify parameter value” allow you to download new parameter values to the controller. This allows changing one parameter at a time. If you want to change several parameters, or save the parameter values to file, or read parameter values from a file, use the Process View Dialog.

Refresh

Click on the “Refresh” button to upload the most recent values of the inputs, outputs, variables, and parameters.
