The iNetGrow script is a powerful mechanism to implement high-level triggers that determine the processes undertaken by the controller (See the sections “Process View” and “Concepts”).

The script may express the outputs to be functions of parameters and not inputs. This allows the output values to be modified by setting the parameter values. Note that a single parameter value may be used to determine the state of several outputs. This introduces a further level of convenience. Moreover, parameter values may be modified from a web page. This allows a high-level control of the controller processes through a web browser, which may be a remote device such as a web-enabled cell phone.

Example 8 illustrates the simple manual trigger.
