Apopka Controller
The Apopka Controllers are the brains of the iNetGrow System. The Apopka Controllers are programmed using a PC. Once the Apopka units are programmed they can run in a stand-alone mode. The controllers running in stand-alone mode have battery backup so if power is lost they will automatically start up again when power is restored.

If a PC is used with the controllers it adds another level of functionality to the iNetGrow System. A PC used with the controllers can monitor and override the control of the system if needed, can be used to review and log data and graph the results, can send scheduled e-mail with log files and reports or can send alarm e-mail as needed.

The Apopka Controllers coordinate the work of the smart I/O modules connected to them. They perform the automation and data logging tasks that involve the I/O modules. The Apopka Controller and the smart I/O modules connect to it are called a control unit. A control unit is capable of communicating over the LAN, performing automated tasks, and logging data.

Each controller has four mNet ports, which can each support up to 4 smart I/O modules. Each smart I/O module may have many separate inputs or outputs which may be used as needed for the application.
