Power Supplies
The iNetGrow system uses low-voltage DC (center negative) wall transformers. Each Apopka Controller and each module has a power socket. Each controller must be connected to a power supply. The modules are daisy-chained to the controller. The mNet carries both power and signals. Each controller can supply enough power for a few modules. At any point in the chain, a power supply may be connected to a module. This power supply will disconnect the module from the upstream power. A module that is connected to a power supply then takes over supplying itself and all the downstream modules (see diagram). For small implementations with only a few modules to each controller, a single power supply connected to the controller will suffice. For large installations several power supplies will be needed, one connected to the Apopka Controller and then as many as needed to power the downstream modules.
