Power Supplies

The iNetGrow system uses low-voltage DC wall transformers.  Each controller and each module has a power socket.  Each controller must be connected to a power supply.  The modules are daisy-chained to the controller.  The network (iNet) carries both power and signals (see diagram).  Each controller can supply enough power for a few modules.  At any point in the chain, a power supply may be connected to a module.  This power supply will disconnect the module from the upstream power.  A module that is connected to a power supply then takes over supplying the downstream modules (see diagram).  For small implementations with only a few modules to each controller, a single power supply connected to the controller will suffice.
