Power
Supplies
The iNetGrow system uses
low-voltage DC wall transformers.
Each controller and each module has a power socket. Each controller must be connected to a
power supply. The modules are daisy-chained
to the controller. The network
(iNet) carries both power and signals (see diagram). Each controller can supply enough power
for a few modules. At any point in
the chain, a power supply may be connected to a module. This power supply will disconnect the
module from the upstream power. A
module that is connected to a power supply then takes over supplying the
downstream modules (see diagram). For small implementations with only a
few modules to each controller, a single power supply connected to the
controller will suffice.
